Description

Start from flat rock just in water climb the north east facing side corner of the big boulder in the water. The first 3 moves put you over the bulge a few more moves and your at the top. Sharp rock! Crocks work in place of shoes. Careful of the fragile holds that can break and lead to a nasty fall and possible fines if you are caught! This is in a national park and a Mayan sacred site climbing is forbidden!

Location

North east side of big boulder half in the water at the south end of public beach access.
Down climb as the tourists watch.

Protection

Free solo. No Gear. No Bolts. No Anchors.

It's a long way to go pull some sharp, brittle limestone. Watch out for the local natives with machetes. They don't like tourists climbing on sacred sites. Sep 10, 2012
