Description

Starts just below the obvious hueco. A few hard thin moves at the bottom lead to steadily easier smearing to the anchors.

Location

Starts left of Contra Friction at the bottom end of the water-carved slab.

There are actually two additional bolted pitches that continue above this route to the top of the formation where you can wander around and enjoy the view. They were pretty fun and very reasonably protected. Felt like maybe 5.7. One can likewise access these higher pitches by climbing City Slicker. Jul 21, 2017
The book indicates that the anchors for There's Friction Afoot (10.b) will meet up with City Slicker (10.a). When you reach the set of anchors there are actually two separate anchors for both climbs. You can also continue up through the second pitch. Have fun! Great climb and just keep you hips close to the wall to increase that friction. Jul 2, 2017

The start of this line is a left-trending 3 bolt traverse aiming to establish on a big chicken head. Begin immediately where the stream leaves the base of the crag. Sep 26, 2016
