I actually don't think this is Thuderbird Bulge. Correct me if I'm wrong but I always knew it as this:

I think I got the FA on this one. I started bouldering at the North Shore in the mid-nineties - I asked Groth, EZ and even Tommy D if they had done anything over there - they said "no". That being said, who knows what was done on the North Shore in the 80s. I found Show Me The Kind and realized there was a lot to be done here. Paul Wagoner got the FA with the direct finish topout(highballin). There is also a hard problem just left of Thunderbird - very crimpy/balancy Jul 11, 2009

I think we used to move left after the toss, and topout via the layback. May 20, 2013

Topping out this boulder is very enjoyable and exciting. If you get sketched out, all you do is cam your body into the crack you lay back on. Then just rest up, calm your head, and finish it up. Oct 27, 2013

A bit of a "one move wonder" if you exit right. The dyno is still fun and all, but I think moving left after the throw really "made" the climb. Jun 3, 2014

Sit start down and left from a juggy hold and it might add a grade and a few more fun moves. Jun 9, 2018
