2017 Seasonal Closures - Partial Closure Lifting Details

On the east overhang is the obvious line to the left of the moderate set of side-pulls and to the right of the arete/Nose Lunge line.

Start low, matched on a W-shaped crimp, pop right to a sloping ledge and then up on crimps.

The Mongoose Block is the first and largest boulder at The Snake Pits. This problem is on the overhanging, east face.

Throw a pad on the exposed rocks and you should be fine.

I went straight up rather than out right like the pictures described, and this is probably more in the V9 or even 10 range for me. It was humid when I sent, so it is probably 9. Grab a nasty left dimple, and get into nasty right sidepull. Then bump right to sharp pinch. Top out on jugs. Jul 9, 2015
