Traverse that starts on the NE corner of the boulder directly north of Beethoven's. Starts on good two-hand ledge. Moves up left to a horizontal band of worsening holds to a very good bird hole. High step and finish up and left. Crux is probably getting into the bird hole. Difficulty varies depending on climber height. Really fun and pumpy. Exit up the crack and off left.

Pad and spotter for the top out mostly.

I tried that way but it was beyond me - I need big holds at my age. May 1, 2010

Checked it out today. I stuck with the original line and used the broken flake as an intermediate to get my right foot up on the good foot under the start hold. Pretty cool move and I would say it is consistent with the grade. May even be a better line than before. Apr 26, 2010

Flake up and left of the starting hold has gone, leaving not a lot in its place. The start is now harder, and may be the stinking crux! It goes by making use of a vertical rail a long way above the starting flake. This gets you a few feet right of where the original start got you to the traverse. Apr 25, 2010
