Enjoying the step-through down low. This was an exceedingly enjoyable route. Highly recommended.

[Hide Comment] You might want to mention that the route moves hard left at the top, to the mussy anchors at the top of Tall T.

[Hide Comment] Fun moves, route does cut hard left at the end. Got my rope stuck in a crack, had to climb up quite a bit to retrieve. Aug 15, 2009
[Hide Comment] Careful getting your draws back on the way down as you have to swing over or tram to get them. Fun route but the flakes feel holllowwwww. Aug 7, 2012
[Hide Comment] Fun route. Some people get confused about what to do high on the arete, so for them it's less fun.
Perhaps easier (and more fun?) if do not always climb close to the bolt line. Nov 28, 2014

[Hide Comment] Many ways to go, liked the arete route over to the right but a little reachy to the bolts - but was super fun. Some tenuous flakes and an awkward traverse. A little tricky to clean. Sep 7, 2016

[Hide Comment] Real pendulum potential into the crack on the left when cleaning top down, we trammed it. Or you can send a follower on TR to clean bottom up.. Nov 22, 2016
[Hide Comment] choss. most of the flakes are hollow and a lot of new climbers are pulling hard on them. Apr 30, 2018

[Hide Comment] A fun route that differs from the usual flake-pulling up most 5.6-5.8s in Alabama Hills. The chossy gulley to the right of the route detracts, but the airy traverse at the end more than makes up for it. Apr 14, 2019
