Description

Beckoning to be climbed on the way to Jailhouse, this route contains a crack, huge flake, and even a few gym-like jugs. While nothing broke for me a fair amount of the rock sounded hollow.

Lacking the FA details I selected a name that seemed appropriate -- please provide corrections. This route is not "Dragon's Butt".

Location

Mixed route on the obvious lime-green-lichen-covered arete that is encountered on the approach to Jailhouse. Directly right of "Dragon's Back".

Protection

2 Bolts, Standard Trad Rack, and Chain Anchors

Isn't Dragons Butt on the far left of Dragons back? There is a climb there that is really short. This climb is to the right of Dragons Back and is mostly bolted with anchors. Added Mussy hooks. May 4, 2012

I thought this was a lot of fun! IMHO it's the best moderate at prison camp. Good gear, some interesting movement, and great rock quality. The 2 bolts make it more palatable to the less experienced trad leader. Apr 5, 2015
