Well, the Mackay guide predates the Fry guide, and both Vogel and Fry have taken liberties in regard to route names at Mt. Rubidoux.

According to " A Climber's Guide to Mt.Rubidiux" by Steve Mackay (1978) this formation (and route) was called the "Six-Ton Weenie." What's the justification for changing the name? Sep 14, 2011
