When approaching the boulder from 304, this problem the far right side of the west face (the aspect you will first see). Pull onto goodish holds above the thornbush. Climb through sidepulls/gastons to the mantle lip at the high feeling ~15 foot lip.

Downclimb under/through the juniper on north face of the boulder.

Started trying a direct line just left of the arete, it will go but it is going to be really hard.... Oct 12, 2009

V2 sounds about right, took a long time to fig out the beta, but once the correct foot placement was found it was send first try. Interesting move going to that peanut feature and then highstepping up. Fun fun. Oct 12, 2009
The route to the left of arete is the West Face. Excellent problem. Start left of a pricker bush, and gain the left-leaning crack. The crux is getting to the undercling. Jan 29, 2015
