Genetic Mirror

Description

A fun climb, typical of a Skaha 5.10. Incut holds, a few tricky sequences, and good rests. At the top it trends right in some nice rock similar to glacier-polished granite (maybe it is glacier polished). Can feel cryptic and contrived at times. When the option presents itself, generally head right.

For those pushing themselves, a stick clip is not a terrible idea, as the initial moves to the first bolt are weird.

Location

Starts on a little ledge just left of Slices of Quince, immediately to the left of the large tree.

Protection

8 bolts, bolted anchor.

[Hide Comment] A great route - won't go so far as to call it a classic though. Definitely a sustained push from the ground, but unsure if it should be upgraded to 10c - ultimately, I defer to the authors. Jul 28, 2010
