This route follows the obvious, left-angling crack just to the left of Intertwine (5.8+). Belay from somewhere along the long ramp. Finish by following the second pitch of The Chimney (5.6 G) or exit up right to the Intertwine ledge and rappel from the chains.

This route is located just to the left of Intertwine. After completing the route either rappel from a threaded chain near the back wall of the Intertwine ledge or if you finish with the second pitch of Chimney, walk off to the right (towards the practice face).

Good pro, carry a standard rack. Tree anchors at the top or fixed rappel chains on the Intertwine ledge.

Hate to disagree with Ben, but local consensus (John G., Brian S. and me) is that this pitch is 5.6. It might have been 5.4 BITD when the tree was still there for slinging and clinging. Feb 13, 2011
I agree, 5.6 seems a more appropriate rating. I think it's harder than Board Walk/Green Rout. May 8, 2012

Without the tree stump (that is now gone) the top out is hard and slopy and at least 5.6. Jun 29, 2015

Named in the late 1960s by climber's from Lowell Tech Outing Club....we put a blue-colored cairn at the base to "designate" the start. WWII-era pins were found. Jul 27, 2018
