Start with a difficult set of moves at the first three bolts before the grade eases up. Sustained climbing that is often devious and technical continues to the anchors with mostly great rock throughout.

On the far left side of the Upper Tier, just before the Fault Wall. Identified as route 33 in Richard Wright's photo. Scramble up ledges before passing the pine tree and turning the corner to the Fault Wall. Set up belay on top of an airy little perch with a threaded hole. Route has gold cold shuts and is just left of a route with shiny, unpainted hangers.

9 bolts.

Must have a few wasp nests hidden around this route - only tried it once, got rejected by wasps swarming and hiding in holds after the 2nd bolt. Maybe a mid-winter route when they are all inactive . . . . Mar 29, 2015
