Description

Hard to miss this one - it's a chimney route (one of the only ones in White Rock). Fun if you like that kind of thing, not so fun if not!

Location

Route #3 in Chen/Wehner, as shown on .

This climb is also listed as Beverly #4 (5.10) and Jackson #5 (5.9).

Protection

TR from the anchors for the adjacent climbs (may not be accessible from above?), or lead it with a standard rack up to a #4 camalot

Photos

There are two TR anchors at the top of this route -- the climber's left anchors set up the chimney, while the climber's right anchors set up a very nice variation (10a? Haven't seen it listed anywhere, but it's clearly been done by someone...) that escapes the chimney halfway up and trends right up the face between Chimney and Big Jalapeno. Jul 3, 2009
