Description

The problem with an obvious big knob in the middle, and a smaller knob along the left arete. Start sitting with both hands underclinging, and work around to grab the knob. From there, it's an awkward throw to the upper knob with difficult feet. Careful of the boulder behind if you come flying off.

This is problem E1 from the Mayer & Moret overview map.

Location

Located at the end of a little nook at the northeast side of the clearing. The problem faces south.

Protection

[Hide Comment] So, is the other boulder on? The one to the left of the corner? Feb 5, 2015

[Hide Comment] You have to use the boulder behind the one with the knob to get started. The sooner you get your feet off it and commit to footholds on the knob boulder the better the problem (I think), but it's up to you. Jun 11, 2015

[Hide Comment] The boulder behind is off limits. Just use the knob. Jul 17, 2015
