Starts with a bouldery move on so-so rock to gain the nice dihedral. Jam & stem the dihedral up beautiful red rock to a section of lighter rock. Belay on the obvious ledge at the base of Turkish Delight.

Located on the SE face of Supercrack Tower. The route starts on the limestone band at the base of a nice dihedral. To get there, traverse SE from the base of the lower window (5.easy) to the base of the dihedral (#1 camalot helpful for the step up onto the limestone band) and build a belay.

Nuts and cams up to a #4 camalot.

Derek, Jimmy, and any others that are interested: I never put rappel anchors atop Tofurky, as it was more of an approach pitch for Turkish Delight. Feel free to put a bolted rap anchor in if you like though! Jan 24, 2017

12/30/2016: Like Derek, I did NOT locate fixed anchors at the top. For the rappel, I slung a boulder with cordellete and two carabiners and left the temporary anchor at the top until fixed anchors are established. I will repost if/when I can get out again to put in fixed anchors at the top of Tofurkey.

Tofurkey tops out at the start of Turkish Delight. I ran out of daylight to climb Turkish Delight so had to rappel off of Tofurkey.

Recommendation: Double rope rappel from top of Tofurkey. A single 70 meter rap will get you down to a slabby section escape to climbers right with a bit of scrambling to get to safe ground but not the most desirable option. Jan 5, 2017

I really like this route. Lead it, but hung, a bit out of shape. Great crack climb amidst beautiful scenery. 5.9, though for me I found the 1st half to be tricky-outta shapeness could be a factor so I'll leave the thought for rating at 5.9. Mar 5, 2009

Mike, you beat me by a week! I lead it yeterday not realizing it'd been done till I saw a bit of chalk and shoe scuff. I agree 5.9, maybe 9+ ...or I'm just out of shape...Turkish Delight sure made me feel like it this time!

While the initial rock quality is not great the top half the route is stellar desert varnished sandstone. I used nuts and cams to a #3camalot. Mar 4, 2009
