Start low on crimps in the seam, move out to the arete, then go up.

Low on the ridge line, either move down from the main trail before reaching Dasani, or head up from the trail that follows the drainage at the parking lot.

Crashpads and spotters.

I went to check out this problem for the first time yesterday afternoon, and it looks like the crucial match hold in the middle of the roof broke clean off. Now you would have to go straight to the smaller hold at the lip from the start. I didn't try the move, but I'm going to guess it will be significantly harder than V3/4 now. Apr 13, 2016

I just did it the other day with the small hold on the overhanging face, and it doesn't feel too much harder. The crux is still higher on the arete. Nov 26, 2016

I believe the grade for this problem depends heavily on where you start.

Starting on the crimps just right of the arete feels V3-ish

Starting in the seam where the roof meets the base rock feels V4ish (and very height-dependent). Sep 3, 2018
