Description

A classic finger jamming exercise. Very fun with an interesting ending.

Location

This is the obvious, aesthetic finger crack on the rock up the river from the main area. There are top rope anchors on top, reachable from a gulley on the right side of the rock.

Protection

Cams up to 1 1/2".

Finger-sized cams up to 1", or stack a couple crash pads and call it a highball. Perfect fingers and tips. Aug 21, 2013

Don Garrett free soloed this in the early 80s, before we had crash pads. Phew. Any wonder that the rest of us Placerville climbers were in awe of him? Nov 27, 2013
I have climbed many times without crash pads. I have have climbed to the top and back down many times too!. The exit is not quite as solid as you would like and a fall from the top is definitely possible Dec 29, 2017
