Description [Suggest Change]

Start on a big jug climb up to the arete, then use a few crimps to gain the lip. Reach back for a decent hold and try not to tear all of the skin off of your knees. Walk off left.

Location [Suggest Change]

This is on the NE corner of the Kahuna Boulder, about 20 feet left of Beach Crack.

Protection [Suggest Change]

Pad, spotter, and long pants.

Seen this one forever and recently hopped on. Depending on flexibility, V5 seems fair if not a bit generous as the crux (for me) was in the mantle. A heel-hand match really makes the sequence quite reasonable and the mantle is not that bad. Good little problem. Apr 2, 2009

A much lower and obvious start squeezing opposing jugs adds quality moves and some difficulty. Lots of fun with an ugly topout. Oct 17, 2016

I agree with the last comment. Sit start low with left hand sidepulled and hand/heel matched on right hand makes this much more fun. Topped out by traversing to good crimps out left and throwing a solid heel. Wasn't too bad. Feb 7, 2017
