Climb grainy friction up through Earth Day Dome's "smile"

The route is visible from the cattle gate east of the candy store. It is the leftmost bolted route on the west face of Earth Day Dome.

To descend, rap from anchors at the top.

5 bolts

In Josh, the home of the grainy slab, this would be 5.6 tops. It is pretty clean and makes for a fun romp. Nov 14, 2016

I'm fairly certain it's six bolts to the closed shut anchor The rock is blonde and pretty solid at that. Dishes, thoughtful bolt placements. Worth doing and sunny exposure if 5.8 slab is what you seek, you won't be disappointed. Nov 12, 2016
Loved this route, but I think 5.9 is more appropriate. Apr 18, 2015
So noted. Changed the rating to 5.8.

Thanks for the feedback!
