A couple thin moves in a few spots on this route. This route climbs the sunny, south facing slabs on the south side of the west Hideout. Only 5.9 if you are taller than 5'8", either way the crux moves are well-protected.

Look for the south-facing tower to the left of Snowball. Narrow at the bottom, the face widens in a rough inverted triangle. This route climbs the left-hand edge of the face.

5 bolts to mussy hooks.

Got the coveted second ascent after Bruce and Em put it up. I think its a good addition to the Hills. Soft 5.9 but likely Bruce would have given it his usual "5.8+". Rest in peace Brutus Of Wyde. :) Apr 6, 2016

Lewis/Croft book is calling Power Play on the north side 10a (which is really probably more like 10b). This route is significantly easier than similar 10's or even 9's in the Hills. Feb 12, 2016

Looks harder than it is. Fun climbing.
