SDS at a low shelf and work up and slightly right on horizontals to the crux move, a long reach to a two-handed slot, before making another reach and and mantling over the sloping top. FYI - unlike the guidebook description the crux is down low unless you're mantelly-challenged.

Short but really fun climbing on mostly jugs with a definite crux.

Center of the west face where the rock starts to become undercut.

The mantle is the crux of the problem. The move to the break is long, but you can also move right then back left and up to the large slot - all the same problem.

Fun problem and a great one to pics from above as people squirm over the mantle. Mar 21, 2010

Mantelly-challenged....now that is a good one. Very well stated, Chris. We do need some consistency between Administrators regarding the spelling of mantel (vs. mantle). Nov 19, 2012

Super rad climb! My wing span was bigger than my girlfriends so the deadpoint was easy. Felt it might be a little soft but if you are shorter like my girlfriend I could see why it would be a V4 Nov 27, 2016
