Tunnel 1 closure
For more details visit: jeffco.us/open-space/alerts…
The two areas Jefferson County Open Space intends to close in Clear Creek Canyon, shown on the attached maps, encompass the active eagle nests. If the Clear Creek eagles continue to nest in the active nests, these areas will remain closed from February 1 through July 31. If the eagles choose different nesting sites, the closures will be adjusted accordingly to protect those eagles during their breeding season.
Currently, rock climbing areas that fall inside of the seasonal raptor closures include:
Blonde Formation
Bumbling Stock
Evil Area
Ghost Crag
Highlander
Skinny Legs
Stumbling Block
Tetanus Garden
Description
The crux is getting onto the wall by stepping left off a block. Nice T.R. if you got your rope already up.
Protection
Top-rope. Now has bolts and its own anchor. I'm not the installer and don't know the bolt count yet? I will update info when I know.
Per Tane Owens: now it has its own anchors.
Per rob bauer: this route has now been bolted and appears to be basically the same as The Man on a Wire. Only the last 5 feet are different, since there is a new anchor.

There seems to be a bit of a redundancy. Is Staff synonymous with Man on a Wire? If so, then it looks like it has 6 bolts and a 2 bolt anchor. Also, I should clarify that I am not the one who added the bolts. Not sure who did, but they're nice! Nov 9, 2014
