Description

This is one of the finest traverses in Flagstaff. Start sitting at a big pinch and make a few powerful pulls out the short roof. Head right using many slopers and poor footholds to reach good pockets about halfway across the wall. Easier moves on deep pockets end at a jug just left of the tree. Match this hold and call it good. Topping out is possible but feels forced and needlessly destructive.

Location

Start in back of the roof on the left side of the wall, climb out and traverse right.

Protection

A couple of pads and someone to move them and keep your head off the ground.

[Hide Comment] This is one of the more aesthetic traverses I've climbed. Well worth the hike down even if just for this problem. Apr 27, 2009
