In the Frig

The name comes from the frig sized block mentioned in the guide book...not sure I noticed it. This climb climbs a great variety of terrain. Get on it...

Same start of Tribal...clamber up a small dihedral to a ledge. Climb horizontals up to a big flaky/shaley ledge. Get in some good gear. Climb steep ground via more horizontals pulling a small overlap/roof, aiming to the left side up an arete. Run it to another shelf and get more gear. Step right and climb a steep dihedral to the bolts that are located under a big perched boulder.

In the freezer...

Tribal Babysitter area.

Rack up to 3.5 friend... Two beefy bolts at the top.

I gave this a PG rating because of the slight run out section after pulling the roof into the arete. Dec 7, 2008

TR'ed. Ledge fall potential at lower roof and top crux. Fun climb with spicy/sporty finish Nov 8, 2018
