Description

Start under the boulder, with a hand on the arete, from here you will want to pull up and pop to a ledge like feature, from here you will surmount the bulge, onto the face that is fairly crimpy, but the hardest moves are certainly the first few moves. This route because it is overhung close to the ground at the start, it is often wet or dirty so i would suggest if you plan to do this route bring a brush, as it will make it more enjoyable.

This is another route that the starting hold has broken on which makes it harder, i have not done it since the hold broke so i cannot say how much harder, so if anyone has any info left me know.

Location

In "cave" like feature facing the path.

The broken hold is irrelevant. I used a small incut undercling for the right hand (left hand on the lip out left). I don't know what the problem climbed like before, but it's pretty soft for v5 anyway. It would need a few more broken holds to be worthy of that grade... :) Jun 20, 2012

Christian, after climbing this yesterday, I agree with you that v5 is an inflated grade for the route. I changed the grade to v4 to keep it at the true consensus. Overall it is not a bad route, I just wish the block was not there on the left and it would climb more naturally. Sep 5, 2013
