Description

Climb the short but sweet slab (5.6) via some balancy smears on good rock. This would be a good problem to learn balance and movement and is also useful as a descent.

  • This problem isn't listed in the Joshua Tree Bouldering Guide but is an obvious line with some good moves that's worth a go when in the area.

Location

South face of the boulder and just right of a bush.

I really liked this problem for the simple fact that it gave me some level of confidence and a feeling of success as a new climber. I'm not going to say that its worth going out of the way for if you regularly climb at a higher level, but if you're new (or taking someone who is) this is a good route to experience some level of challenge and success.
