Description

Start from the ground and climb the curving arete left of Down with the Ship (V-easy) via balancy moves and subtle weight shifts. This problem climbs directly over a small rock so a good spot is helpful if you think you might fall off. Starting off the rock avoids the crux and makes this a V-easy (5.9) problem.

  • This problem isn't listed in the Joshua Tree Bouldering Guide but is an obvious line with some good moves that's worth a go when in the area.

Location

Left arete of the East Face and just left of Down with the Ship.

Protection
