The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Jump for the lip and press it out - nothing fancy on this one. Easy downclimb on the west side of the boulder. An easy downclimb exists on the west side of the boulder just right of the Crystal Arete.
