I'm pretty confident this hadn't yet been climbed... It was very dirty when i found it and no an obvious line...

Start sitting in the dark corner underclinging the crack above you with your feet on the face in front... layback and kneebar (if you like) to gain a nice undercling pocket... Get another hold on the boulder that was over your head and find your way right to gain a cool moderate top out...

in the back of the alcove to the left of Mrs. Lovett, up the hill...

Climbs exactly as the description. A fun few moves to a nice mantle top out. Easy boulder to get off of afterwords. Oct 15, 2008

Loved it! Great use of both sides in the corner and a super fun "leg-throw" top out (at least for my beta). Feb 17, 2010

My friend and I did this this weekend but instead of starting in the undercling, we started matched in the pocket, got feet, pulled off the ground, took a hand out of the pocket and then made a big move to the lip. The top was pretty tough and doing it like this felt like a v2. We didn't use the small rock to the left that you start underclinged in this climb.

Is the only difference from what we did and this problem is that in this you start matched on the undercling? I'm wondering if I should post what we did up since it was really fun. Apr 25, 2016

Hard to say. Been a while since I've been out there I will have to check out your variation. Apr 26, 2016

Yeah lee I got a video of it, it's a fun line. It's also fun to start crossed in the pocket and then hit the lip with your left hand first, this way makes bringing your right hand to the lip the crux as you have to hold a big swing.…
I'll have to go out and try Welcome to the Grave then too, it also looks fun! Apr 26, 2016

I've done it that way before. Still felt v1 to me. The only thing I thought makes it challenging is the fact it's awkward to avoid the massive block to the side while pulling on. Apr 26, 2016

Doesn't seem like an independent line IMO. More of a stand start eliminate. But good climbing I'm sure :) do Fleet Street ;) and Mrs. Lovett, those are the best. Apr 28, 2016
