Access Issue: Gate Buttress Area Recreational Lease: Climbs on Church Buttress above vault remain closed Details

Description

Really fun, featured slab climbing up beautiful black streaks with a long reaches or a little dynamic. After pulling the lip climb up head up and left plugging some gear and aiming for the big roof making a natural ?belay? under it, or go to the chains at the top of the ?Gary Colman Corner?.

Location

This is the 3rd pitch variant to Diff’rent Strokes, just left of the ?Gary Colman Corner? down the slab.
(see ?topo?)

Belay: There is a bomber fixed LA under the roof close to the slab start, a #0 Metolius can be used in conjunction with the pin for a good belay.

Protection

(1) #1, #2 Metolius for the lead. QD's.
TCU’s, a hand sized cam, and nuts for the belay.
