Description
Tigers on Vaseline is Ogden's miniature version of Chain Reaction. The route was intended to have the first bolt stick-clipped as the crux hits just before it and blowing those moves with no protection would obviously be bad.
You'll likely be heel-hooking glassy rock on this on. The crux sequence up through the first bolt is quite elusive, but very exciting. It features powerful layaways off of tiny crimps and smooth slopers sustained by glassy feet and capped off with big dynamic moves between jugs to reach the easier climbing up top. Would be a schoolroom classic, despite its brevity, if there was such a thing.
