Gain the top of the flake and follow crimps to the high topout.

On the uphill side is a very large hollow sounding flake.

At least one pad. A good spotter might help add confidence. Descend by jumping to the smaller boulder left of the route.

The flake on this problem does sound hollow but it is very strong still. I topped out this weekend (04/09/2017) and must say that the top out seems harder then V3. Perhaps holds have broken over the years. I feel the top out is move V5. The sloppers up top are high friction and the crimps used to get to the top offer good feet but just be ready for a countertop like surface if you decide to top out. Trust your spotters and have a Party Mountain Day! Apr 10, 2017
I also did not top it out. I didn't like the noises the flake made at me. Aug 23, 2009

Cool problem, but I opted not to top it out with out a spotter. I was really just glad that the flake didn't come off and crush me. Oct 24, 2008
