Steep, sequential and pumpy. Diagonal up and right past the crux. Easier climbing then leads to a large ledge.

The first of 4 closely spaced routes encountered on the right when walking up the Grotto from the descent Gully.

3 bolts to 2 open shuts. Not a bad route to stick clip.

Never liked this route. An alleged 10b harder than most of the 10c's at Echo. Not bolted right either--second bolt should be a bit higher, third bolt is superfluous--the climb is over when you can palm that ledge. Awkward handholds and not much for feet, you can waste a lot of time on this little climb, and if you finally get it, you'll find that it doesn't call you back. But it sure looks tempting for first-timers. Jan 19, 2015

Tony sure has the beta on "Low Rider" dialed in. Definitely a sandbag at 5.10b and his witty prose about the route NOT calling you back is profoundly dead on. Mar 8, 2015
