Description

This is the problem I've been looking for... I love the idea of off-width roof climbing but never tryed one... It also has kneebars and hand jams, its no wonder it went so long without being climbed, haha...

Start in the back of the cave as far as you can manage... Lay on your back and stick your feet up the crack... Do a sit up layback the edge with your hands and try to keep your back off the ground (its very low)... Scoot right like this till you can stick a kneebar and then a good hand jam... Get a nice stem rest before finishing up the hand crack above... the position is such that if you are not a solid crack climber you might be sketched...

I cleaned some chossy rock out and lots of spider webs... i still need to clean the top off a little better but its pretty much good to go...

follow the crack back down and right to get off...

id love to hear you opinion of the grade since ive never climbed this style problem before...

Location

If you are on top of overlooked looking away from the pond this route is at about the 2 oclock (you know, slightly to the right) position about 50ft up the hill... If you know where you are looking you can see the top out...

Protection

Pad and good hand jams...

not a fantastic picture but it gives you an idea of the nature of the top half of the climb...

[Hide Comment] Unique, and interesting climb. I'm new to jamming and enjoyed that this route let me play around from the nice stem position. Where a solid jam would probably suffice, I found I was able to knee bar my way towards the upper part. The spotting location isn't as great as the beta picture may seem. Climb this route! [Hide Comment] A fun & interesting problem with some cool and fun moves... haven't sent it yet but enjoyed the couple of burns i did take on it... the landing is a little shady, the person spotting you will have fun staying on there feet, small landing zone if you pop off... definitely get on this climb!!
