Liquid Culture combines steep climbing with sub-par moves, less than perfect rock, and an anticlimactic finish.

Start up the left side of an obvious, blue streak, and head for a left-leaning seam. This is where things go wrong. Following the crack, do some unpleasant moves that lead you to a shallow, slabby dihedral. Now pretend that you are trad climbing and stem you way to the top. Oh wait, there is no top, you have simply reached the start of Gommorah.

Starts on the left side of a prominent, blue streak. One route to left of Tomfoolery.

Bolts and fixed anchors.

Great description, Taylor. Other than to make us laugh, why even bother writing it up? Sep 19, 2008

Great description, I got a good laugh out of it while working this route! While not the best route, it is a worthy 13- objective if it is pouring out (that's how I got sucked in). Some of the lower pockets seep during an extended wet period however. The crux of this felt quite hard compared with other 13a's in the canyon. Sep 29, 2014
