Description

Crank the steep pocketed face past three bolts to the top.

Location

this buttress is located a few yards downhill of Trundlasaurus. Look for the bolted line up the middle of the steep face.

super brittle choss right in the middle where it starts to get hard. i put a #1 cam to protect the overhanging clip (glue in stainless spike again, poor choice). another sheisty clip and you are there at the anchor.

don't fall on lead at crowder's, the rock is terrible quality... Nov 27, 2011

The top anchor of this route has NOT been replaced. Glue-in bolts at the crux are a significant improvement over what was there before. Nov 27, 2011

Thank you for the new glue ins at the crux. My only beef is that after you get established above the crux move you have to reach down to clip the bolt. Moving the bolt a foot or 2 higher than the original and slightly left would be an improvement. The bolt that I am talking about has been moved down and right, I assume for more sound rock, than the original. Again thanks for your work to upgrade the hardware. Dec 28, 2012
