Climb the steep arete on big jugs. It is super fun and pumpy.

This is the obvious line up the arete.

Bolts, chains.

Classic benchmark .10-, Indy Pass, face climb. Just off the deck make the first clip and enter a balance lieback with a critical, right smear. Once you dispatch the low crux, enjoy the steep train and killer incuts above trending a bit right until the last clip where you move a bit left and up to the chains. Jul 27, 2015

Very tricky start and pumpy for 3/4 of the route. The holds are good, but the overhangs make it tiring. Rest halway up. Jul 19, 2012

Not sure about the gear aspect, I was pretty focused on clipping the bolts. Sep 2, 2008
If this is the line I'm thinking of, it used to be done with gear, right? Sep 1, 2008

Very steep for a 10a, overhanging for a majority of the route, big holds where you want them. Aug 31, 2008
