Description

Dark Special is yet another classic. A tricky start on the arete leads to spectacular crimping and edging through the arete. This is a route not to miss.

Location

This is the odvious arete just to the right of Light Special.

Protection

There are four bolts with a rap anchor at the top.

This area has seen some work in the last two years (today was 4/19/15) but someone added plated (rusted) washers to modern 3/8th in stainless hardware. Not perfect, but better than the old spinners that were here. Apr 20, 2014
Between 1st and 2nd bolt is the most relevant run-out. Some bolts were spinning. May 7, 2013
