Description

Start left of the arete and climb up easily to clip the 1st bolt. Move past this and clip the 2nd bolt and then make thin moves up the steep wall to a rounded mantelshelf and the 3rd bolt.

Finish with a final mantle to reach the anchors.

Location

Left side of the central arete

Protection

3 bolts, 2 ring anchors

Take care with the flakes out left. They are not solid and shouldn't be relied on. The route follows the bolts and is solid. Aug 15, 2008

Fingery moves up a short steep wall gain a rounded break and a mantle (to the right is easier) and then easier moves to the top - fun. Sep 18, 2008

fun route, did this two ways:
straight up, definitely harder. bit of a sloper move.
farther left, bigger holds. i thought they're pretty solid, but falling from that position (on lead) would not be good. Jul 7, 2015
