Description

A deceptively steep climb which proves to be harder than it looks.

Move up to good ledge and reach up to a good ledge in order to clip the first bolt. Move up onto the ledge and fight the desire to fall off backwards.

Clip the second and then make the crux moves to gain the slab above. Once established on the slab continue easily passing the 3rd bolt up to the anchors.

Location

This climb is situated 15 feet right of The Gathering.

Protection

4 bolts, 2 ring anchor

A quick lieback and rockover move gains the groove where a bit of creative stemming helps to make the crux a bit less awkward. After the crux easy slab moves gain the anchors. Sep 18, 2008
