This problem is so inviting. A really long slopey arete that goes from left to right. Start on two good side pull crimps; pull up to the slopey arete and continue right on really good feet. Top-out at the highest point of this boulder.

Walking from Hero Block to the Valley Boulder it is on your left. It is visible from the trail but a little bit off of the trail. This route starts around on the other side of the boulder.

Pad and someone to move the pad. An actual spotter isn't necessary. Down climb bu the dead trees and jump off. I went to the lowest part of the boulder and jumped onto a pad. Which is also an option.

I started this sitting, matched on the obvious low crimp rail just right of the arete. This seemed like the most logical start to me and how I thought it was supposed to start. Starting like this is probably around v3/4.

Not a bad climb at all. Probably the highest quality line on the boulder. Jul 6, 2014
