Description

Climbs obvious right leaning crack that gets steeper right below the ledge. Everyone climbs this baby. There is even a cam stuck way down in the flake on the lower part of the climb waiting for someone to free it-be my guest!

Location

In the middle of Crag Central below an old Cedar tree that is perched on the big ledge.

Protection

Nuts/Cams-Anchors on top.

This route is awesome. Super fun. From the ground I thought the gear looked thin, but I found a solid piece every 5 feet. Stitched it up.

Edit- the tree at the top of this route ripped out in the last ice storm. Oct 7, 2012

a must and a good warmup before doing The Nose. bring a .3 or a C3 #2 to protect the last move before the anchors. Jun 8, 2012

Solid route - new guidebook upgrades it to 5.8 and it is proably still a little stiff at that grade. Dec 9, 2009
