Description

Located near the right end of the Garden Spire's north face. A cool see-through hueco with webbing is one of the belay anchors on top. Ridge line on the right, about 5.5 trad, can be used to reach the anchors for a top-rope.

Protection

Quick draws. The first bolt is high and is often stick clipped. The second bolt is also rather high. To quote one experienced climber: "If I blow that second clip, I'll deck."

Anchors at Hole in the Wall. On Feb 3rd 2013, a rotten green sling was replaced with this black one; the whitish yellow sling was left for back up mostly. It's easy to spot it from the ground. I also left a maillon through the bolt hanger to facilitate rappel. You can descend by topping out and walking down the slab of Old Yeller or soloing the series of huecos west of the route end, but an extra option doesn't hurt.
