Description

This route is short but the climbing is excellent and well worth the effort. Hard moves get you started right off the ground and stay sustained and bouldery till you pull through the crux. The upper third of the route has bigger holds but still keeps you on your toes.

Location

Bosephus can be found on the short face to the right of Insane Hound Posse. It's the route in the center of the face.

Protection

4 Bolts to a 2 bolt anchor.

[Hide Comment] Might be fair to just go ahead and call it .12a. Jul 17, 2012

[Hide Comment] Errr, not sure this can be called 11 anything! I'd say 12-. Much harder than anything on Zombie Leprechaun or indeed many of the others 11d I'v tried in TS. That being said, it is good -super thin, required strong crimping power, excellent body positioning & footwork. Short but not to be underestimated. Jul 9, 2018

[Hide Comment] Quite bouldery and reachy at the bottom. Nothing felt like a V4 move, but first 3 bolts were sustained. Probably will get easier with more chalking Jul 26, 2019

[Hide Comment] This one is worth doing if you're at denial. Really cool rock and fun movement. A bit sharp. Jun 21, 2023

[Hide Comment] This route is so cool! It's short, bouldery, sharp, and technical. I loved the movement on this one. It's 40 ft but it's on you the whole way. I'd say the business is getting up to the 3rd bolt and then it eases off a touch. Goes into the sun by 1-2pm in late summer. The crimps are small and bad but it's sharp enough to bite you back! Definitely felt hard for the grade. Sep 14, 2023

[Hide Comment] This one packs a punch for such a short route. Oof, felt extra painful with wrecked skin 4 days on. Awesome bouldery movement though! Oct 10, 2023
