Current San Diego County Advisories Details

Description

The crux is sending the flake. Depending on the technique you use, it can be smooth as butta or rough as nails...you choose. Gear for about 10ft and then 2 bolts to the anchor. Continue past the anchor and straight up to link with Direct Service.

Location

Located between RURP Ripper and Ski Tracks. The route goes up and left a giant flake to a rap anchor.

Protection

Sm-lg gear and 2 bolts to the bolt anchor.

I would recommend taking a #.75 or #1 camalot for the run to the anchor. Although the climbing eases up toward the top, you would be quite run out relying on the last bolt as your last piece of pro. May 31, 2009
