Description

This one is not as classic as Nat's but definitely has a few difficult jams down low and gets you warmed up for the enduro crack climbing next door. Sit start beneath the overhanging fingers to hands crack, continue up the wide section either laying back and stemming or the much more difficult full on off-widthing. Top out higher up on the formation and down climb the backside.

This is called "Packing the 9" in Rob Kelman's book. Per his guide: 5.9, no sit start. FA:Harry Knabe and Sherry Maynard in 1995.
I also ended up doing a layback for the wide section, since it was difficult to get into as an offwidth. Jul 19, 2015
