Description

A fun enough route with the quintessential quartz band climbing of Windy Point, and a nice view if you care to look over you're shoulder as your headed towards the anchors.

Location

If approaching from the road this route is on Rupley tower "B" as marked in STL 2. There is a small alley where several climbs begin. If you're looking into it this route is on the left and is the furthest in near the back towards the chimney, which is actually the climb R-2 if you start from the bottom and downhill side of the formation.

Protection

One or even two gear placements are probably ideal as you make your way out right to the first bolt. the remainder of the climb is bolted and there are chains at the top.

Bolts and top-anchors updated by CASA in 2016.
