Begin with 5 bolts of nice big holds and then be amazed as the holds disappear for the 2 bolt crux section. following the crux resume the climbing on big holds through the small tiered roof.

Nice change of pace from other climbs in this grade.

This is the 4th route from the left of the wall. The route begins on a prominent ledge where many of the other climbs begin.

Bolts and Chains
(not cold shuts as stated in STL 2. Topo matches, but the "Project" to the right is the one with cold shuts all the way up.)

Got a little freaked out w the SMC hangers but they're actually the newer-style good ones ( bad style on the right in picture below, note horizontal stamp and thinner overall). We tightened the nut on the crux bolt, but some Loctite would be good as well if anybody is up there.

An aptly named line due to both the odd style and the dramatic change of character at the crux. My enjoyment of this line grew as my confidence in the rock quality increased. Apr 5, 2015
