Description

This is a tough lead. The only real protection is the cable that runs across the wall.

Location

Starts a few feet to the right of the hole in the base of the rock

Protection

Standard rack. This route is VERY runout.

For what it's worth, this route was rated 5.10d/11a in my old Ogden guidebook from the 90's. After recently climbing it again on top rope, it definitely didn't feel like 5.9 to me! Fun moves on nice edges, smears, and side pulls, in spite of the cables. Jul 27, 2017

I had a lot of fun doing this. We TR'd it but it was very fun to do and I would love to do it again. Oct 1, 2010
The bottom of this route (up to the wire) is a lot of fun with some pretty crimpy moves. The wire makes pulling the crux even more interesting. Jun 10, 2009
