Description

This inside corner flaring crack can be tricky but is a fun climb.

Location

Inside corner to the climbers left of Mickey Mantles.

Protection

Wide cracks and trees at the top for anchor. Larger CAMs & Hexes.

This is a fun and very tricky route. There are many options for the well versed trad (crack) climber, however the gym/sport climbers will find this quite harder than 5.8 especially if they're short.

For gear I just use 3 BD C4's: #2 in the hand crack, #0.4 in the finger crack and #6 in the offwidth. I felt very safe with just these three.

A #5 C4 would work just as well in place of the #6, but you have to use the #6 if you have it :)

I wish the hand crack went all the way to the top!!! Jul 5, 2010
